Hello!
This year I had the opportunity to go to the Jack Russell National Competitions. The were held in Biglerville, PA. That's a LONG ways from my house! Momma is very directionally challenged and there was no way she was about to drive us there, as we would probably have ended up in California instead. sigh.
So when Jill offered us a ride we said yes.
It's scary to think of staying at strangers houses. And not just one strangers house but two different houses. But it turns out they weren't strangers at all, just fantastic friends we hadn't met yet *S*.
As usual, momma got carried away with that picture box thingy, so sit back and I will try to explain all of them.
It's broke into three large pages... ready???
Ok all packed and excited... let's load and go!!!
whoa!!!!!!!!! Crate??!! I have to ride in a crate?!! This wasn't part of the bargain.....
After riding in the car a very long time, we finally stopped. Me and that cute little Lea got to rough house and play on the big bed.
She is such a flirt. Don't I look sad? bol
We went thru a tunnel again. And guess what was at the end...... another tunnel!!
Eventually we entered New Jersey!!
We got to meet our first new wonderful friends, Ellen and Bill. First thing we did was get back in the car... but this time it was for a fun run thru the park... Paxton stayed on leash but me and Lea ran and had fun.
The next day was soooooooooooooooooooo much fun. All 5 of us loaded into the car and off we went. to the beach!!!!! The Jersey shore. This section was called Sandy Hook.
It was really really windy on the beach but wow was it fun! Don't laugh at my ear blowing in the wind..
I was standing here minding my own business when the ocean rolled up and pushed me back....
Me and Lea said hi to the locals. He wasn't very friendly tho and didn't stay around for any chit chat.
playing ball. If you look closely you can see New York City way across the ocean.
hehehehe I got the ball......
hey Lea, check this out!
pictures
pictures, doesn't that dumb box ever quit?
Then we went to do more "tourist" thingys..
Fort Hancock, where they used to keep watch out for submarines ....
more cannons.... (what ever a cannon is. bol)
Then we climbed way up into the sky. We could see New York City from up there!! Ellen holding Paxton, me and momma, and Jill holding Lea.
Jill
we could see huge boats, I mean ships, I mean cruisers, going by....
zooming in... New York City
Next thing they spotted was the 3rd oldest working Lighthouse!! After being way up in the sky already and this looked even higher, me,paxton and Lea decided we would wait in the car...
The steps were narrow and winding.
half way up,,,
a little higher...

lunch on the Jersey Boardwalk!
hehehe we had to take pictures of some of the shacks we drove by...
That night we went for long walk around the neighborhood. Strange creatures live in New Jersey!
Although some seem to be happy and friendly.
The next morning was time to say good bye to New Jersey. Lots of hugs and stuff.
